Sydney Mills is from Dallas, Texas which means she has strong opinions about cornbread. She is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Film/Animation/Video and a minor in Literary Arts and Studies.
Mills has worked as an Animation Timer on animated shows such as Futurama, Disenchantment, and Fired on Mars. Additionally she has created visual media for concert events including Lollapalooza Music Festival. Mills is currently one of five filmmakers in Film Independent’s Project Involve 2023 LAIKA Track, a two year stop-motion animation artist development program in partnership with LAIKA Studios. In her free time she is also the founder and host of Cool Girl Cinema Club. Based in Los Angeles
